山本聖子 Seiko Yamamoto

創作起源於她對成長地「新市鎮」(New Town) 中高度同質化的都市規劃，以及其中獨特的氛圍、居民與生活方式所產生的不適感。近年來，她持續以研究為基礎進行創作，透過影像裝置及其他形式的作品，探討與這些生活環境相互連結的日本工業現代化歷史。

Her practice grew out of a sense of unease with the highly uniform urban planning of the “New Town” where she grew up, including its distinctive atmosphere, residents, and ways of life. Through research-based video installations and other media, she explores the history of Japan’s industrial modernization and its connections to these living environments.
