Thomas Thwaites

設計研究者，關注科學與科技對社會的影響，創作跨越設計、研究與社會觀察。作品經常透過實際的製作與實驗，重新思考科技、材料、生產方式與日常生活之間的關係。作品曾於世界各地博物館與藝術機構展出：《The Toaster Project》記錄從原始材料開始製作電烤麵包機的過程；《GoatMan》 則以化身山羊的實驗，探索人與動物之間的界線。

Thomas Thwaites is a design researcher interested in the social impacts of science and technology. His work is in the permanent collections of the V&A in London, the Boijmans in Rotterdam and the Banque de France, and has been shown at the National Museum of China, MoMA, the Science Museum in London and La Triennale di Milano. His projects include The Toaster Project and GoatMan, and he teaches at Central Saint Martins.
