Théophile Blandet

出生於法國，現居荷蘭鹿特丹從事藝術與設計，曾在荷蘭埃因霍芬設計學院 (Design Academy Eindhoven) 學習Contextual Design。創作位於流行文化、工藝與工業之間，關注日 常物件的功能與抽象形式。作品經常從工業製程、材料與生產方式出發，將既有物件與製造條件重新轉化，發展難以被單一類型定義的作品。

Born in France in 1993 and based in Rotterdam, Théophile Blandet studied Contextual Design at Design Academy Eindhoven. At the crossroads of popular culture, craftsmanship and industry, his practice explores functionality and abstraction through “infra-ordinary” objects that resist categorisation. His work often develops through encounters with industrial processes, materials and forms of production, which he reinterprets through his own practice.
